Jesus remembers what it is like to be eight years old and ten years old and twelve years old. He remembers what it is like to live at home with your mom and dad and brothers and sisters. When Jesus was that age, he was already making decisions to follow God’s word. We don’t know all that he did, but we can be sure even at that age, he wanted to be close to God and obey him. Now Jesus, who was once a kid himself, says to kids today, “Follow Me.” Come along. You have never met a man like him.
