Heroes

We are in a spiritual battle everyday for our own souls and for the souls of all men and women. We are also in a spiritual battle everyday for the souls of our children. My daughter, Summer, is 14 and has made her decision to be baptized as a disciple. My son, Kent, is 11. How quickly they grow up! I love these two with all my heart. And because of this, I want my children saved. I want my children to go to heaven! I understand that it is not a sure thing that my children will love God just because I love God. I want and need all the help I can get to lead them to eternal life. With God and with biblical discipling, it’s a battle that can be won!

The heart of Jesus Christ was moved by the needs of children. No famous person in history ever made a stronger commitment to children than did Jesus, and Jesus’ commitment shows us the commitment of God. I have known, loved and admired Clegg and Betty Dyson for 20 years, and I know of no one who takes Jesus’ heart for children more seriously than they do. Because of this heart, the great example of their own family and their incredible work of developing and shaping the children’s ministry of the Boston church, I asked Clegg and Betty to write this book. The words of this book come from their hearts, for they believe there is no greater sin than being mediocre in the way we teach our children about God.

This book and tape series will make a difference in the life of every coordinator, teacher, helper and parent who uses them, but the ultimate benefit will come to our children.
