Jesus’ main message was “the Kingdom of God.” This should get our attention.
We use the phrase, but do we use it like he did? Is it at the center of what we preach and teach? More importantly, is it at the center of the way we live? is it an idea we feel sure we understand, or is it a vision that keeps stretching our faith?

If you want to keep your Christian reflexes—shaped more by history and tradition than by Jesus—this book will give you a headache.
