Dr. Gregg Marutzky is the minister for the Omaha Church of Christ. Gregg has served in ministry since 1982. He grew up in Grand Junction, Colorado before going off to college in Boulder where he became a disciple of Jesus Christ. Gregg received a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering and in business administration from the University of Colorado while training for ministry.
Later he attended Pepperdine University and received a Master of Science and a Master of Divinity, before eventually receiving a Doctor of Ministry degree at Abilene Christian University, Campus ministry was his initial focus for many years, serving students at the University of Colorado, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, San Diego State University, Long Beach State University, and the University of California-Los Angeles. Also, Gregg has served as a minister for churches in San Diego, Denver, Los Angeles, and Dallas. He currently serves on the board of directors for HOPE worldwide and is a staff chaplain at the Nebraska Medical Center and Creighton University Medical Center.
Gregg and his wife Cathy have been married for thirty-two years and have two daughters.
Amanda practices law in Los Angeles. Megan works as an interior designer in Dallas. Cathy is a Licensed Public Counselor in the Elkhorn Public Schools after serving for over twenty-five years in women’s ministry.
